For those interested, we have several volunteer projects to choose from. Many positions ask for a minimum time commitment (often at least one month), and may require students to cover their own room and board. Relevant work experience and/or degree may also be necessary. Information about specific placements is available upon request.

"Volunteer Costa Rica" is a program designed for everyone interested in living in Costa Rica while working in social interest projects such as female organizations, non-profit organizations, associations, foundations and communities dedicated to developing various projects related to:
  • Agro-tourist project and conservation of resources
  • Artisan products and conservation of natural resources
  • Forest and protection of turtles
  • Conservation and environmental education projects
  • Factory of artisan production from residual wood
  • Farming administration
  • National of wildlife refugees
  • Teaching English in middle and high schools in rural communities
  • many others!
These projects are located in friendly environments, rich landscapes, surrounded by warm people willing to share with the volunteers. Due to the nature of some programs, participation is seasonal (mainly those related with wildlife migrations).
