POLICIES
- All vehicles are air-conditioned and non-smoking.
- No pets allowed.
- Each passenger is allowed one carry-on and one item of luggage.
- The carry-on must stay with the passenger at all times, while the luggage item will be tagged and placed in the luggage compartment.
- Neither ¡CATCH! TRAVEL nor the operator will be held responsible for loss or damage to carry-on items left unsupervised by the passenger. This includes carry-on items incorrectly stored with the luggage.
- Transportation of additional luggage, surfboards (maximum 7 feet in length), or large items are not included in the price and must be arranged ahead of time. A payment of US$10 is required for each extra item.
- Additional luggage or large items will be stored in the luggage compartment, while surfboards will be secured to the roof of the shuttlebus.
- All extra items are accepted according the available space. If there is no space remaining, the extra items cannot be transported and we are not responsible for additional transportation or refunds.
- Car seats for children are provided when requested at no extra charge. These requests are always filled if there are car seats available.
- Many trips include one rest stop and/or a change of shuttlebuses. However, a trip will not have more than two rest stops.
- We advise all passengers to be available for pick-up at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to their assigned time.
- The shuttlebus will only wait ten (10) minutes past the assigned pick-up time. For example, if the pick-up time is 9am the shuttlebus will leave at 9:10am whether or not the passengers show up.
- A ferry is used for transportation of passenger and their luggage in places where there are no bridges. In this case, the shuttlebus will leave the passengers and their tagged luggage on the ferry to be picked up on the other side by a different shuttlebus and driver. Interbus will not be held responsible for any situation due to the ferryboat operation.
IMPORTANT OPERATION POLICY
The service offered are private tourist transportation throughout Costa Rica. We do not operate as public transportation or pickup/ drop off passengers on the road. All our services must be reserved and specify name, number of passengers and date of travel, pickup and drop off sites. Pickup and drop off places must always be hotels, travel agencies, or restaurants. Customers with no reservation will not be allowed in the vehicles even if there is space available. All our itineraries as well as timetables shown in this website serve merely as information and it has to be clear that we do not operate any service if not booked in advance. More specifically we do not run our vans randomly as the public transportation companies do, neither use public stops nor any place along the road for our operation.
PAYMENT, MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION
Full payment is due 15 days prior to the first departure or at time of reservation if made within 14 days prior to the first departure.
Modifications at no fee are accepted within 7 days prior to departure. After that term no modifications are accepted.
Cancellations at no fee are accepted within 18 days prior to departure. After that term a 100% fee applies.
No show = no refund.
