DAY 1 - Arrive in San Jose, transfer
airport-hotel. Overnight in San José.
DAY 2 - On our first day we head to
the mighty Reventazón River. There's no better warm-up with
exciting big waves, hydraulics, play spots and stunning scenery.
Camping
at Ríos Tropicales Operations Center. (B,L,D)
DAY 3 - The Pacuare
river will
guarantee
one of the most breathtaking tropical rainforest experiences. Paddle
this whitewater utopia far removed from civilization's rush and live
it's heart-pounding excitement. Overnight at Ríos
Tropicales Lodge (B,L,D)
DAY 4 - Paddle into the Pacuare gorge
past gushing waterfalls, serene pools and pounding rapids. Upper and
Lower Huacas, Cimarron, Dos Montañas and many more, will have
you
cheering ecstatically. A short drive from the take-out to our
Operations
Center for an exquisite hot lunch, showers, changing rooms, cold and
hot
drinks. Camping at Ríos Tropicales Operations Center (B,L,D)
DAY 5 - If you are ready for BIG
water, the Pascua section of the Reventazón will challenge the
most adventurous spirit with nonstop Class IV rapids by the names of
"North Sea", "Horrendito" and "Indigestion". Camping at Ríos

DAYS 6 - 8 - So you came for
adventure huh! These next 3 days are designed to go "find the best
water
of the week". Transportation, meals, and camping are included. Return
to
San José on DAY 8. Overnight at hotel. (B,L,D)
DAY 9 - Transfer Hotel - Airport

Paddle Caribe
DAY 1 - Arrive in San Jose, transfer
airport-hotel. Overnight in San Jose.
DAY 2 - On our first day we head to
the mighty Reventazón River. Today will be an introduction of
our Paddle Caribe adventure, combining Class
III rafting with a Jungle Kayaking practice. This will set the stage
for
our paddling trip. Overnight at local Hotel. (B,L)
DAY 3 - Drive to Tortuguero National
Park Ranger Station. Quietly navigate into the heartland of this
amazingly diverse National Park. Overnight at Mawamba Lodge (B,L,D)
DAY 4 - Explore totally
unobtrusive
lagoons and test your paddling endurance through Tortuguero's
waterways.

DAY 5 - Depart Tortuguero, today
we'll overnight at a local Hotel close to our Operations Center. Relax
this afternoon and get ready for the Pacuare. (B,L)
DAYS 6 - The Pacuare river will

the Lodge's surroundings: hiking, bird watching, soaking in our
waterfalls and pools or simply relax. Overnight at Ríos

DAY 8 - Paddle into the Pacuare gorge
past gushing waterfalls, serene pools and pounding rapids. Upper and
Lower Huacas, Cimarron, Dos Montañas and many more, will have
you

DAY 9 - Transfer Hotel - Airport

DAY 1 - Arrive in San Jose, transfer
airport - Hotel. Overnight in San José.
DAY 2 - Early departure towards the
Gulf of Nicoya, across the Bay lays Curú National Wildlife
Refuge. Our sea kayaking base camp for the next 3 days. Camping at
Quesera Beach. (B,L,D)
DAY 3 - Today we'll spend enjoying
the paddling varieties of the area - paddling around Tortugas Islands
or
drifting through a rich and unique mangrove. Enjoy your last evening
under the Pacific stars surrounded by the tranquility of the ocean and
tropical surrounding. (B,L,D)
DAY 4 - We will go for our last
paddle in the morning back to Curú base and our return to San
José. (B,L)
