The Property

This hotel is located between La Fortuna Town and the Tabacon Hotsprings on the main road to the Arenal Lake. Lavas Tacotal is a small hotel with 2 pools and a large restaurant with bar. From the pool you will enjoy one of the best views to the active side of the Arenal Volcano!




Standard Rooms

The standard rooms are constructed and designed with floors of Italian ceramics, walls of concrete and wood. The rooms offer a ceiling fan, A/C, private large bathroom with tub and hot water, one or two double beds, 2 walk-in closets, nighttables, sofa, Cable TV, bar with refrigerator, desk with pull-up chairs. Only rooms 8 to 14 have satelite t.v.




Junior Suites

The Junior Suites are quite ample, newly constructed with floors of Italian white ceramic, A/C, ceiling fan, private bathroom with shower and bathtub with turbulent waters, Cable TV, 1 King Size bed or 2 double beds, night tables, safety deposit box, mini-bar, porch with (partial) volcano view.
