The Treetop Walkways is a 1.9 mile (3 km) trail that crosses through the cloud forest, in which visitors will walk over 8 different bridges from various lengths ranging between 150 feet up to 510 feet and altitudes ranging between 36 feet up to 180 feet.

The treetop walkways are suitable for people of all ages and physical condition. Guided and self guided tours may be booked in advance and the duration of the tour is usually between 1.5 to 2 hours. 		After putting on the appropriate equipment you will be taken through each of the 15 cables and 18 platforms and optionally through our very own Tarzan Swing. This Canopy is the only one located inside the actual virgin cloud forest of Monteverde.

If you are looking for extreme adventures and amazing rides, this Canopy Tour is your best choice. The Tour usually takes between 2.5 to 3 hours and may be completed by people ranging between the age of 4 to 99.
 		Explore a community that gathers more than 20 species of butterflies. Learn about their life cycle, their special abilities and behaviors that have helped them evolve into each different species.

 Enjoy the world’s largest private insect collection. Take a close look at thousands of insects, butterflies and other wonderous specimens from all over the world presented in a way never seen before anywhere else. Appreciate the exhibition "Jewels of the Rain Forest" by world famous entomologist Dr. Richard Whitten who has been collecting insects since age five.
 At our restaurant El Jardín our visitors can enjoy our exquisite meals in a rustic environment with beautiful views of Selvatura’s main garden. It also offers options for those who are interested in having breakfast, lunch or simply relax and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. Our Restaurant specializes in pizzas, pastas and international food as well as typical food.
